The mature age is a necessary piece of human life. It is the night of life. It is unavoidable, bothersome, unwanted and issue ridden period of life. In any case, it is truly fascinating to take note of that everyone needs to carry on with a long life, yet not to be old. It is ironical that however undesirable the old age, it is bound to come in life. A man is constrained to experience the torments and delights of this age like different periods of life before making an exit from this human world.

Each period of life has its own issues which require judiciousness, knowledge, mental fortitude and solidarity to take care of. In adolescence and youth one has guardians and other close old friends and relatives to help, participate and control. Also, one himself is loaded with vitality, quality, endurance and mental fortitude. Be that as it may, the circumstance takes a converse turn in the mature age for all his works he needs somebody to help. He becomes dependent to others largely due to his physical infirmity. He wants someone to take care of his needs and share his feelings. Yet, in this realist society, everyone is shy of time. Nobody has enough time for him. Even his own children to whom he dedicates his life and his earnings, do not find time for him. Diseases both minor and major always follow them. Ordinary clinical guide and help gets normal at this phase of life. A sentiment of depression unfavorably influences their emotional wellness which appears through some physical issues. In recent times, insecurity of the old, particularly in metropolitan cities, has emerged as a matter of grave concern. Usually, they are alone with servants to take care of them. After sometime, the servants become familiar with everything in the household, they rob them of all their belongings, often become cruel enough to kill them and ran away. The news of such incidents are frequent in national daily. The problem of loneliness and isolation is the gir of modern society. The general public powers an old individual to live like an island. Truth be told, during the mature age one is confronted with multi-dimensional issues. One of the major problems is the financial constraint which is really more difficult in case of those old persons who are not entitled to any social security and have no source of income, completely depending on their children. This brings more despondency to him. This plays havoc with the lives of the elderly. 

The image is extremely terrible in the dusk long periods of the life. There is no kinship, no adoration, similar to that of the parent for the youngster. We ought to be sincere and sufficiently caring to deal with them when they most need it, yet not spoil them.
